In a world of bridal gowns filled with intricate details and emotional depth, Adam and Eve is a bridal brand distinguished by its refined simplicity and timeless elegance. The brand has grown organically from a deep love for design and a genuine understanding of the women who wear its creations.
Behind every gown is Patcharaphan Tiansiri (Tape), the designer who pays meticulous attention to every stepfrom the initial concept and craftsmanship to the moment a bride sees herself in her most confident version. This interview invites readers to discover Tapes identity, philosophy, and creative journey, through the perspective of a designer who believes that a truly beautiful bridal gown does not begin with extravagance, but with understanding and intention in every detail.
The Beginning of a Bridal Journey
Q: What led you to enter the bridal industry?
Tape:
Before founding Adam and Eve, I had been working in the ready-to-wear fashion industry since 2008. Over the years, I took on many rolesdesigning for Thai fashion brands, working as a stylist for concerts and artists, and serving as a costume designer for stage productions. Fashion has always been an integral part of my life.
The idea of creating a bridal brand began in 2016 when I designed a wedding gown for my older brothers wedding. The dress received overwhelmingly positive feedback, and my family encouraged me to pursue this path seriously. I spent about six months studying the market and shaping the brand direction before officially launching Adam and Eve in February 2017on Valentines Day.
The First Wedding Dress in Memory
Q: Do you remember the first wedding dress you ever designed? How did you feel?
Tape:
The very first wedding dress I designed was for a close friend right after we graduated. She asked me to design and make her wedding gown, and I remember feeling incredibly excited. My only goal was to create a dress that truly represented who she was and made her feel confident.
Seeing the completed gown and watching her wear it on her wedding day filled me with immense pride. That moment made me realize how meaningful it is to design a wedding dress for someoneits an experience that stays with you.
Inspiration Behind Bridal Design
Q: What inspires you the most in designing wedding dresses?
Tape:
The smile and confidence of a bride when she puts on a gown crafted with love and intention. Especially that moment after zipping up the dress, when she stands in front of the mirror and sees the best version of herself. Seeing her look and feel beautiful on such an important day is the greatest motivation that keeps me passionate about bridal design.

Design Process
Q: What is the design process from the first meeting to the final fitting?
Tape:
For collection pieces, the process begins with current trends in silhouettes and fabrics, followed by careful material selection and detailing aligned with the collections inspiration.
For bespoke gowns, we start with an in-depth conversationcovering the ceremony style, schedule, venue, guest count, décor, body shape, and expectations. From there, we move on to pattern development, sample fitting, design adjustments, and detailed craftsmanship, followed by first and second fittings, and finally the final fitting.

Tape:
A woman who is poised and understated, yet quietly confident. Her beauty is refined, elegant, and effortlessly captivatingsimple, luxurious, and impossible to look away from.
Q: How do you help brides discover their style?
Tape:
We begin by reviewing references the bride loves, then analyze them alongside her body shape, ceremony format, and venue to find the most suitable designwhile preserving her individuality.
Q: Common concerns from minimalist brides, and how to address them?
Tape:
Many worry that a simple gown may look too plain. This can be resolved by adding accessories such as veils, gloves, or jewelry, or incorporating subtle draping or delicate embroidery to create depth and interest.
Memorable Moments
Q: Most memorable experience working with brides?
Tape:
Every couple leaves a lasting impression, especially those we work with over a long period, where relationships naturally deepen. One particularly touching experience was creating gowns for a wedding arranged quickly so a brides ill mother could witness her daughters special dayit was deeply meaningful for our entire team.
Q: Most challenging situation?
Tape:
A gown once went missing during delivery to Chiang Mai. We recreated the entire dress within one day and sent it in time for the wedding. After that incident, we decided to discontinue long-distance shipping to maintain quality and reduce risk.
